The Green Infrastructure Network (GreenInfraNet) is a partnership of 11 regions across Europe. The GreenInfraNet project is a response to the challenge of biodiversity conservation in Europe and to the loss of valuable ecosystems and their services. The main objective of the project is to strengthen the development and implementation of green infrastructure in EU regions in order to conserve biodiversity and ecosystem services in close cooperation with other policy measures related to, for example, agriculture, urban development, transport, recreation and climate change adaptation.
