The SUBLIME SDGs programme has just launched a Youth Climate Actions Subgranting Scheme ‘Kamalè’ in Cyprus to support climate mindful actions led by engaged youth leaders.

We are looking for young people who are eager to be at the forefront of the fight for climate justice.

The call will support:

  • Youth organizations and any other type of civil society organizations
  • Youth climate Actions carried out in Cyprus

Objective of the Call

This call for proposals aims to provide financial and technical support for youth-led initiatives that address environmental challenges at the local level.

Eligible Proposals Must:

  • Align with the goals of the SUBLIME SDGs project.
  • Focus on empowering local communities, addressing their specific challenges and needs.
  • Engage at least 250 young people (aged 15-30) throughout the duration of the project, fostering their participation and leadership in climate action.

Who Can Apply?

To submit a proposal, young people must collaborate with a legally registered non-profit civil society organisation in the country where the project will be implemented. Young people cannot submit proposals independently.

This Call is Open to:

  • Young activists interested in promoting environmental action and civic engagement.
  • Individuals not yet actively engaged in climate initiatives but who can be mobilised through education and targeted actions.
  • Marginalised groups, including young migrants and underrepresented populations, who face barriers to participating in policy and environmental initiatives.

More information about the SUBLIME SDG’s project

The SUBLIME SDGs project (SDGs Unite Border Communities as Leaders of Inclusiveness, Mobilisation, and Empowerment) is a four-year initiative co-funded by the European Commission through the DEAR programme. It is implemented in 11 border cities across the EU.
The project aims to empower local authorities, civil society organisations, and young people to design and implement innovative climate actions that promote sustainable development and social inclusion.
